Oezov South Kazakhstan University (SKU) is one of the oldest educational institutions in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Today, SKU is committed to excellence in teaching and research, distance education and active training of young scientists.

SKUs offer great research opportunities. The university is implementing 45 research projects with a budget of 703.726 million tenge. Commercialization of results of scientific and technological activities is carried out within the framework of 6 projects with a budget of 342.669 million tenge. Each year, the results of these research efforts are published in more than 150 articles in scientific journals in the Web of Science and Scopus databases. The school independently publishes 5 academic journals.
